I'd looked up the help tag and a lot of people are experiencing similar things (sometimes been stuck since March/April).Įither way, how has it been for everyone for shipping and receiving packages here in the states? So far only had issues with two packages (as mentioned above), but rest have come pretty timely. Though, I'm getting nervous that this package may get permanently stuck, which while it's not an immediate and/or important item, just not sure what to do if it doesn't move at the end of the month (report it to the shipper? try and contact usps? etc.). I had a similar package take awhile to move, as well, and took about 2 weeks, so it did eventually move. Another friend I talked to said he's been waiting for a month for it to clear customs and hasn't seen any movement, either. However, no movement has been done since June 2nd, and I contacted USPS about it (after having a difficult time getting them to respond), and it appears it's stuck in customs right now (as the person told me it hasn't cleared Customs yet). With all that, has anyone had any issues getting stuff delivered, not so much on time, but packages getting stuck at one location and not moving? I recently ordered something from the UK (Retro Gaming Cables, as they had a good Component Cables solution for the Genesis) and it appears that the package arrived here. Second, I'm also aware that the funding situation is not good, due to the Trump administration, as well as what was passed under the Bush administration. That said, this is more curiosity than anything else. Any client who wants to pay a US freelancer $ 3.00 an hour will assume that you can hired for peanuts.First off, I'm 100% aware of the fact the Coronavirus situation has impacted deliveries significantly, due to the services being backed up and lack of employees working at various branches.

Any client willing to hire someone at a reasonable rate will assume you are a low quality, low cost, entry level provider and pass you by. That is all there is to it.Ģ) The contract damages you as any other client looking at your profile sees your hourly rate (the rate you are working at, seemingly) as $ 3 an hour. If you do not see it under the Pending tab the client did not issue a payment. Had your client issued a bonus you would see it in your reports under the Pending tab. Running a contract via bonus payments means if the client can't (or simply does not feel like) pay you you simply don't get paid. A fixed rate contract gives you the protection of funds being held in Escrow. There was just a three-day holiday weekend and that could have slowed up the letter. Ive seen mail piggyback across the country. Sometimes depending on where you live if your a special snowflake they can take a little longer. The history of the Postal Service is a large story set on a broad canvas. First class letters take 1 to 2 days typically up to 3.
Been a week and havent recieved usps firstclass mail zip#
I remember a lady that put mail holds on every address she had lived in that zip code. The Postal Service has enabled faster, more efficient communication, created safer, more secure delivery of correspondence and merchandise and has adapted to meet the evolving needs of its customers for nearly 250 years.

The way your contract is set up leaves you entirely at the mercy of the client and at the same time makes you almost unhireable for any other client.ġ) An hourly contract is meant to be on a "per hour" basis (hence the name) and protects you if you use it correctly, because if you track your hours correctly you WILL get paid even if the client fails to pay and / or disputes. Answer (1 of 21): You should definitely check with your delivery unit to find out why you are not receiving mail. To be honest the by far most likely reason is that your client simply didn't issue the bonus. thanks for the insight of what may be wrong Im paid by bonus through the company so i dont have to track hours or anything.
